My name is Phunsil. On December 26, 2024, my life was shattered in a violent car crash. I was unconscious for eight days, and when I awoke, it was to the reality of a broken body. My leg was shattered, requiring surgery to place a metal rod. My lungs were bleeding internally. Every part of me ached from the violent impact.
In those first moments of consciousness, I was a prisoner in my own body—unable to move, my voice barely a whisper. The pain was a constant reminder of my helplessness, and a profound hopelessness set in. I was convinced this was the end of my life as I knew it.
It was in that dark place that a memory of hope surfaced: the promise that Jesus Christ is a healer who offers new life. With the little strength I had, I began to pray. "Dear Jesus," I pleaded, "please help me. Heal my body. Let me go home. Give me a new life."
The prognosis was grim. Friends and even medical staff seemed certain my recovery would be a long, arduous road, if it happened at all. But my prayer became my anchor. I held onto the belief that Jesus would not forsake me, that He would restore me.
Then the miracle began to unfold. In just eighteen days—a fraction of the months the doctors had predicted—I was discharged from the hospital. The speed of my recovery was inexplicable by medical standards. It was a direct answer to my prayers.
Back home, my prayer continued as I faced the challenge of rehabilitation. Day by day, Jesus gave me back what the accident had stolen. The legs that couldn't move began to take steps. The arms that had no strength learned to function again. Soon, I was walking on my own, without any assistance. I knew, with every fiber of my being, that this was the result of the love and power of Jesus Christ.
This healing was more than just physical; it was spiritual. I wasn't just healed; I was changed. My casual acquaintance with faith has blossomed into a deep, heartfelt relationship with God. I now immerse myself in the Bible, am an active member of my church, and I share my story with anyone who will listen.
When people hear what happened, they often ask, "Did Jesus really do that for you?" My answer is always a confident, joyful "Yes! He gave me a new life, and He can do the same for you."
I share this today so that you may know that Jesus is not a figure of history. He is a living God who is still in the business of performing miracles. He rescued me, and He can rescue you. Whatever your struggle, whatever your pain or despair, I urge you to place your life in His hands. You will see, as I have, that He has the power to transform everything.
