Going Wide Phases
A framework to cover all villages, districts, provinces in Thailand

Our mission is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every village, district, and province in Thailand. To achieve this, our plan is to launch 77 unique provincial missions in three separate phases, rather than approaching it as one large project.

God is already at work—3 provinces have been reached, and new church communities are currently being built in 5 more. We trust that as the Lord continues to guide and provide, we will complete the journey and fulfill the mission for the 69 provinces yet to come.

Phase 1 (2020–2026)

During Phase 1, we focused on learning, practicing, revising, and perfecting the AFT method of Evangelism, Discipleship, and Church Planting. Through these years of experience, we developed an effective approach for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ that allows us to reach the rest of nation.

Goal: Form village churches in every village and establish district churches in every district across the eight provinces of Phichit, Phetchabun, Nakhon Sawan, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Phitsanulok, Lopburi and Kampaeng Phet.

Progress: Phichit, Phetchabun and Nakhon Sawan are fully reached. Phitsanulok is on track to be fully reached by the end of 2025. Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Kampaeng Phet, Uthai Thani and Lopburi  will achieve full coverage by the end of 2026. 

Phase 2 (2027–2031)

This phase represents a progression building upon the achievements and knowledge gained from Phase 1. Drawing from previous experience, it is estimated that Phase 2 will require five years for completion. The objective of this phase is to ensure the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all of Central and Northeast Thailand (Issan), historically considered the least reached areas of the country.

Goal: To form 37,700 village churches and establish 338 district churches in the remaining 28 provinces of Central and Northeast Thailand by the year 2031.

Provinces: Amnat Charoen, Ang Thong,Bueng Kan,Buri Ram,Chai Nat,Kalasin,Kanchanaburi,Loei,Maha Sarakham,Mukdahan,Nakhon Phanom,Nakhon Ratchasima,Nong Bua Lamphu,Nong Khai,Ratchaburi,Roi Et,Sakon Nakhon,Saraburi,Si Ayutthaya,Si Sa Ket,Singburi,Sukhothai,Suphan Buri,Surin,Ubon Ratchathani,Udon Thani

Phase 3 (2032–2037)

This phase represents the final phase in reaching all of Thailand. By this time, we anticipate other organizations joining the AFT effort of reaching all of Thailand. 

Goal: By the end of 2037, form 34,230 village churches and 366 district churches. To extend the reach to the remaining 40 provinces in Thailand, which includes the North, South, East, and Bangkok Metropolitan regions.

Our strategy is to find "people of peace," make them disciples, and empower them to start churches in their own homes. These local communities then raise up their own leaders, creating hubs of faith that multiply across the country.

The power of this model lies in its sustainability. By focusing on raising up indigenous Thai leaders from the very beginning, we ensure the movement is not dependent on outside influence. It creates a self-replicating momentum, where Thai believers are the ones reaching their own people and planting the next generation of churches. This is how strategic action leads to exponential, lasting impact.
